In the begining, I wanted to make Pepper in a different way that we have seen until now, so I decided to play with the idea of creator-creation and comparing it with the mother-son. Because for an artist, a drawing is a kind of son or something like that, at least for me. As a result, I used the cable of the headphones as the umbilical cord, that´s the conection between mother and her child. Also, we can think in that way that the music brings life To keep the idea to do something different and very personal, I decided to do my own technique and I used my color pencils and coffee to paint the background. Finally I used Photoshop to do some touches in the details.

Esta es mi entry para el concurso del libro de Pepper.

En un principio queria hacer a Pepper en una forma de diferente de lo que se viene viendo en cuanto a este personaje, y jugar con la idea de creador-creacion y madre-hijo. Porque para un artista, un dibujo es como un hijo, no tanto pero en un sentido... De esto modo, use el cable de los auriculares como cordon umbilical, esto es la conexion entre la madre y el hijo. Tambien se puede pensar que la musica es la dadora de vida o fuente de alimento. Para seguir con la idea de hacer algo diferente y personal sobre todo, decidi usar nuevamente mis lapices de colores y cafe para el fondo. Finalmente use un poco de photoshop para juntar todo y dar unos toques.
